THE STORY BEHIND THE CANVAS

Strawberry
Splash

A strawberry breaks the surface and, for a fraction of a second, the ordinary becomes spectacular. The painting freezes that instant—the tension of the water, the vivid red of the fruit and the light scattered into countless droplets. It is a celebration of energy, freshness and the beauty hidden inside a fleeting moment.

About the artist

Giannis Patsoulis is a self-taught painter whose work explores realism through colour, human expression, water and light. He is drawn to moments that feel familiar yet charged—an expression, a reflection or a sudden movement that transforms the everyday into something worth remembering.

Working intuitively, he builds each painting through careful observation and a deep curiosity for atmosphere. His practice is independent, personal and always evolving. Read the artist’s story →
